Goo Goo Dolls brought their ‘A’ game to ready fans on the Jersey Shore with hits such as Broadway, Name, and Sympathy.

The Goo Goo Dolls tour rolled into Holmdel, NJ on Aug 12 to a packed house at the PNC Bank Arts Center. With them in support was Daughtry and Plain White T’s. The night was electric as all three bands engaged the crowd with fans for each singing along throughout the night. There were some issues with Daughtry’s audio at first, as was reported on many reviews across the web. However, they fixed the problem and Daughtry’s powerful and soothing voice sent chills across the arena.

One highlight of the night was the closing number of the Goo Goo Dolls encore. The band played Give a Little Bit from Supertramp, an interesting choice which they seemed to nail, if crowd reaction was any indication. As usual, John Rzeznik engaged fans in a personal manner, with Takac and Tutuska holding down the stage.

Our photographer, Jeff Crespi, was on hand to cover the event.

Jeff has always loved photography, he would take pictures at all the shows with his point n’ shoot camera from the crowd. People enjoyed Jeff’s pictures and that became the focus of going to shows.
