Crash Midnight and Adelitas Way brought hard rock and high energy to St. Andrews Hall, opening for The Pretty Reckless on October 26.

Crash Midnight started out the night. This rock band from Boston, MA consists of Shaun Soho (vocals), his brother, Bo Soho (bass), Alex Donaldson (lead/rhythm guitars), Andrew Merkle (drums), and Tony Pizzo (lead/rhythm guitars). They bring rock and roll down to its roots… in your face guitar based music with songs about women, partying, and the rock and roll life. Formed in 2006, these guys have starting to gain momentum in the rock world with the release of their debut album, Lost In The City, which will be released on Nov 18, 2014. It is available for preorder on iTunes.
These guys came out onto the stage at 100%, and never lost momentum. With crowd favorites like “151,” “City Girl,” and a cover of Guns N’ Roses classic “Mr. Brownstone,” these guys delivered to the approval of their fans.

The band is also proud of their new Green Energy Tour Bus. The tour vehicle was built by rhythm guitarist, Tony Pizzo, who has been doing a lot with clean energy over the last few years. Starting as a 1978 motor home, Pizzo is currently working on making this run on clean fuel. Their message is if a rock guitarist can make this happen and go on tour foe next to nothing, then there’s no reason that big business and trucking can’t start taking some steps to decrease pollution and move in that direction. The band is taking donations for the cause on their Indiegogo page.

Adelitas Way was up next, and proved that this band is a force to be reckoned with.
Started in 2006, this band consists of Rick DeJesus (vocals), Tre Stafford (drums), Robert Zakaryan (guitar/backing vocals) and Andrew Cushing (bass/backing vocals) and based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band has toured with Shinedown, Papa Roach, Godsmack, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, Trapt, Puddle of Mudd, Alter Bridge, Skillet, Halestorm, and others. Their latest album, Stuck, was released July 29th. The first single off of the new album, “Dog on a Leash,” has broken the top 10 at Active rock, and currently sits at #7 on the charts.

On stage, the band is powerful and sounded exceptional. It’s easy to see the band loves to perform live. The show was filled with heavy guitars and often explosive drums, along with frontman Rick DeJesus’™ commanding vocals. They played fan favorites such as “The Collapse” and “Criticize,” as well as songs off their new album including their newest single “Dog on a Leash.”
“Stuck”, released July 29th, is available in iTunes.
