In preparations for a big 2019, female country artist Carly Pearce plays the 8 Seconds Saloon in front of family and friends.

As one of country music’s hottest female artists as of late; Carly Pearce, stops in at the 8 Seconds Saloon in Indianapolis, IN, she begins to close out 2018 and prepares for a promising big 2019.

After spending much of 2018 as a support artist to the Luke Bryan and Rascall Flatts’ tours, Carly makes a visit to the Indianapolis nightclub for a rare opportunity at being in the headliner’s position.

Performing in front of a large crowd at the 8 Seconds Saloon, Carly sings songs from her debut and current album Every Little Thing.

After welcoming the crowd with “Careless,” Carly gives a little insight on her by telling of her being born in Marion, IN (about 100 miles north of the club) before being raised in Kentucky.  She has many family members and some friends that make the trip tonight to visit and see the show.

When Carly turned 16, she quit school and moved to Pigeon Forge, TN to work a full-time job at the amusement park Dollywood.

Carly mentions how she wishes she could go back to being 16 and sit next to her grandfather on the couch and listen to him tell her how she is going to miss this place.  The song “I Need A Ride Home” reflects the missed moments of spending time with him and other family members.

Along with her own originals, Carly gets the female portion of the crowd feeling sassy as they sing and dance to the Shania cover “Man! I Feel Like A Woman.”

After being reserved from a heartbreak a few years back, Carly lets her guard down in 2018 and fell in love with fellow country music singer Michael Ray.  Because of conflicting schedules between the two artist’s, it is hard to find time to spend with each other.  Carly wrote her current single to an upcoming album “Closer To You” to tell of her feelings for him.

Because of her limited time on stage as an opening act, she doesn’t often get the opportunity to perform a solo acoustic song.  Grabbing her guitar and having the boys in the band exit the stage she expresses her love for country music in general.  Carly especially loves the female artists of the late ’80s and early ’90s and references them to help define the image she wants to portray in herself.  Tonight she gets the crowd to participate and sing along to one of her favorite songs from that time, “Strawberry Wine” by Deana Carter.

After getting some airplay success from the Sirius XM “The Highway” channel, Carly signed with country’s powerhouse Big Machine Records at the beginning of 2017.  After merging together, they helped launch her debut single “Every Little Thing.”  Carly thanks the crowd for all the success they have shown to her and the song.  She describes her moment of winning “Breakthrough Video Of The Year” at the 2018 CMT Music Awards as “To the guy who broke my heart…..(with a smirk) Thank You!”

After a fun evening performing in front of family, friends, and fans of new and old, Carly concludes her big homecoming evening with her sophomore single “Hide The Wine.”

Earlier in the evening, female newcomer Livy Jeanne warms up the crowd with her show-opening performance.  Ryan Barnette joins Livy on stage tonight playing beside her on electric and acoustic guitar.

Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Livy now calls Nashville home.  Originally being from the north, Livy jokes with the crowd how embarrassing it is to admit, “it has been a while since I have been in chilly weather and tonight I am freezing.”  The crowd reacts with laughter and applause.

In tonight’s show, Livy performs her latest singles “Easy On You,” “Wrong For You” along with “All Kinds Of Crazy” while also entertaining the crowd with cover songs “Still The One” and “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)” by Shania Twain and John Michael Montgomery.

The evening is a big success for Carly as the 2018 tour schedules are beginning to wind down.  It is a great confidence builder for her as she begins 2019 with her own co-headlining Way Back Tour with friend Russell Dickerson during January and February.
