The band covered the hit Maroon 5 song “Animals.”

On March 9, post hard-core band, The Persevering Promise, released the music video of their cover of Maroon 5’s hit song, “Animals.” Their unique makeover of the song transformed the top 40 pop single to an edgy rock-metal record.

As a band, we appreciate all different types of music. The thing about pop music is that it’s already musically set up to be heavily rhythm oriented and extremely catchy. Nothing like a little screaming and some double bass to make a song POP. – Jesse Barton

The band has created an international fan base through the aggressive tour schedule. Persevering Promise has performed at festivals such as Vans Warped Tour and Michigan’s Dirt Fest. They were on tour for half of 2014.

Their most recent album, An Illusion in Shambles, reigns at No. 8 on the Billboard Heat Seekers and features artists Ronnie Winter of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Shaw Spann of I, The Breather, and Chad Ruhlig of For the Fallen Dreams/Legends.

New music will be released by Persevering Promise later this year.
