The Mighty Swine are a progressive, hard rock/classic heavy metal band highly underrated in the Midwest, gearing up for Dirt Fest 2014.

The Mighty Swine is a rock band which bears the signs of heavy  70s and 80s hard rock influences. The band first gained notice in 2009 with their album Let ‘em Eat Swine.  Since then, they have release several more albums, charted well, and earned awards.  They have also toured heavily, opening for names such as for Skid Row, LA Guns, Dokken, Adler’s Appetite, and Texas Hippie Coalition, and headlined as well.

The lineup of The Mighty Swine is Mike Skimmerhorn (bass, vocals), Stacey Donahue (guitars, vocals), Rory Faciane (drums), and Jeff Tong (guitars, vocals).

Mick’s Pick: One of the bands I am looking forward to at Dirt Fest 2014!
