Alternative rock and ska veterans from Orange County, The RX Bandits, played a solid show to fans in Ft Lauderdale as they set out on a new tour.

RX Bandits, formed in 1995, consists of original members Matt Embree (vocals/guitar) and Chris Tsagakis (drums). The current lineup is rounded out by Steve Choi (guitar) and Joseph Troy (bass), both who joined in 2001.

The band kicked off their North American headline tour at the State Theatre in St. Petersburg, Florida at the Culture Room on July 12. The tour includes The Dear Hunter as co-headliner and will feature RX Bandits playing a mix of new and old material.

RX Bandits put on a great show to a packed house in the Culture Room. Their set with onstage energy. The audience was singing along and moshing. These guys know how to put on a good show and the fans responded accordingly.

In support was The Dear Hunter from Providence, Rhode Island. This band is composed of Casey Crescenzo (Vocals, Guitar), Nick Crescenzo (Drums, Vocals), Robert Parr (Guitar, Vocals), Connor Doyle (Guitar), Nick Sollecito (Bass), Maxwell Tousseau (Keyboards, Percussion, Vocals), and Matt Fazzi (Guitar). The Dear Hunter was a good solid group. Their progressive sound resonated well with the crowd and were a suitable opener for the night.
