Performing in front of a SOLD OUT crowd, Jason Aldean brings Kane Brown, Carly Pearce and Dee Jay Silver along for his Ride All Night Tour in Grand Rapids, MI

On the second weekend of Jason Aldean’s 2019 Ride All Night Tour, the show stops in Grand Rapids Friday night for another sold-out performance. Van Andel Arena is the fourth show of a 30 plus city nationwide tour.

As the three-time reigning Entertainer Of The Year, the 2019 tour is Jason’s first since being awarded the ACM Dick Clark Entertainer Of The Decade.  Jason becomes only the sixth artist to be honored with this exquisite award.

Jason’s performance in Grand Rapids is a masterful showcase of music and artistry. It is evidence of why Jason is deserving of the grande title that he has recently been awarded.

Jason kicks off his performance by inviting his fans to “Take A Little Ride.” The ride is a 90-minute trek through time as Jason performs some of his greatest hits accrued over his 14-year career. With nine studio albums, Jason has released 30 singles that have turned into 22 #1 hits.

Some of those songs included are “Big Green Tractor,” “Tattoos On This Town,” “Fly Over States,” “When She Says Baby,” “A Little More Summertime,” “Gettin’ Warmed Up,” “My Kinda Party” and “Any Ol’ Barstool.”

With three microphones spread across the front of the stage for him, Jason doesn’t spend much time in one spot as he paces from one microphone to another giving all his fans the same opportunity to catch him at the right angle.

Telling the crowd that he did everything he could to get his duet partner to come to Van Andel Arena for the evening, he confesses that having her appear on the large video screen is the best he could do as he and Miranda Lambert perform the duet single “Drowns The Whiskey.”

Making a claim that talking takes away from his time singing and entertaining his fans, Jason dives right into his current single “Rearview Town” from his current studio album of the same name. Jason also adds his latest #1 single “Girl Like You,” from the same album.

While covering all his current hits, Jason makes sure to fall all the way back to the beginning of his professional singing career to his debut single “Hick Town” from 2005.

Commenting that most artist at this point of the show will say goodnight and walk off stage for a few minutes only to return for an “encore” of their greatest hits is “bullshit.” “Everyone knows what is happening, so why waste everyone’s time, just stay on stage and sing the songs that the crowd paid to hear. Don’t tease them.”

Afterwards, Jason continues his evening’s performance with “She’s Country,” “You Make It Easy” and ends the evening with “The Only Way I Know.”

Showing their appreciation for the never-ending high energy show, the crowd gives Jason a full standing ovation while cheering him and his band before they exit off the stage and put another stop on the tour to rest.

Kane Brown takes to the stage before Jason’s headlining performance. The Georgia native came to the public’s eye by way of performing and sharing his early videos on social media. For this evening, Kane performs his debut single “Used To Love You Sober” along with other hits from his 2016 self-titled debut album and from his second album Experiment. Those songs include “Heaven” and his first #1 single “What If’s” that he performs with Lauren Alaina, his duet partner and former schoolmate.

Opening the evening’s show is Carly Pearce, one of country’s hottest up and coming females as of current. Performing her debut single and first #1 “Every Little Thing,” Carly adds “Hide The Wine” and her current single “Closer To You” to get the crowd warmed up.

In between each of the artist’s performances, musical entertainment with crowd participation is provided by the top music DJ/remixer in the industry, Dee Jay Silver.
