Three of Detroit’s best artists release new music videos.
To some Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest bar night of the year. To some of Detroit’s top local artists, it was more than that. The Infatuations, Paulina Jayne, and The Mike Leslie Band, all premiered music videos on Wednesday night, at the Magic Bag in Ferndale. All three of the music videos were filmed by Michigan film students from Madonna University’s Broadcast and Cinema Arts program – Capstone Film Class. Jennifer Champagne (the class instructor and executive producer) and the film students were in attendance and they could not of been any prouder.
The Mike Leslie Band opened the show and premiered a video for their new single, “Weather Vane”. It was filmed on the rooftop of Town Pump at midnight, showcasing the city lights of Detroit.
Paulina Jayne was next and premiered a video for her song, “He Doesn’t Know It Yet”. It was filmed at The Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House.
The Infatuations closed out the show and premiered a video for their brand new song, “Yesterday Morning”. It was filmed at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Max M. Fisher Music Center.
