Grammy award-winning group Imagine Dragons soared into DTE Music Theater in Clarkson, Michigan as part of their Evolve World Tour.

Imagine Dragon‘s lead singer Dan Reynolds immediately got the mostly female sold-out crowd electrified as he took to the stage shirtless showcasing his unique physique. Pounding out the lyrics to “Radioactive”, “It’s Time”, and “Whatever it Takes,” Reynolds took turns strutting back and forth across the stage while taking some short time-outs for a few notes on the grand piano located center stage. Wrapping himself in a fan’s flag, he talked about being humble and equality, further reinforcing his beliefs of inclusion, acceptance, and pride.

The show featured an amazing guitar solo by Wayne Sermon at the end of “I’ll Make It Up To You,” numerous drum solos and a serious number of confetti blasts.

As the sun set, the outdoor amphitheater became dark and the massive stage lighting took over. Drenching the crowd in a sea of color, bringing to life hits like “Gold”, “I Don’t Know Why”, and “Mouth of the River”.

Moving to the back of the pavilion onto a smaller portable stage, the band began an acoustic set featuring “Amsterdam”, I Bet My Life”, and “Bleeding Out”.

The show closed with balloons raining down from the ceiling, the largest confetti blast of the night, and their mega-hits “Thunder” “On Top of the World” and “Believer”.

Opening the night was America’s Got Talent wunderlust Grace VanderWaal with her angelic voice and ukulele skillset. A perfect match for the younger teenage crowd.
