Thrash giants, Battlecross, play to an all age crowd in Indianapolis on a Sunday evening.

Battlecross, self-described as a Blue Collar Thrash Metal band, are known for being approachable and down to earth. Fans can find them at events usually working their merch table before and after the show, and they are willing to chat with each and every person.

The underage venue was not packed for a Sunday night show, but those there came ready to rock. The crowd was loud and exuberant with a small pit forming for many songs. As always, regardless of the size of the crowd, Battlecross delivered an immaculate set full of energy and good old-fashioned Detroit metal.

The amazing bass work of Don Slater is fun to watch while Tony Asta and Hiran Deraniyagala on guitar shred up each song switching stage sides, stomping and jumping to the music. Kyle ‘Gumby’ Gunther always delivers strong and hearty vocals. He interacts with the crowd, even having fans sing parts of the chorus occasionally. Battlecross certainly catered to this crowd and delivered a solid night of metal.
