Glasgow Busker Ben Monteith has been wowing the people of Glasgow and beyond with his acoustic rock and soulful music on the streets of Glasgow.

On the rare occasions where Monteith performs at a music venue, he brings his band and his blend of soulful rock, presence and intimacy to another level, as was witnessed by National Rock Review at the end of July.

National Rock Review recently caught up with Ben while he was busking in Glasgow City Centre. Monteith talks about family, musical influences, drumming and fronting a band amongst other things. Listen to the audio interview below.

Hailing from Northern Ireland and living in Glasgow, Scotland, I have been a lover of a wide range of different music for many many years. With a passion for photography I love combining writing about great music, with shooting great images of bands or artists, capturing the mood, atmosphere and painting an accurate picture of a gig for those who weren't there.
