The Boston extreme metal act made its final stop on the road wrapping their US Tour in the Motor City.
Just because it was a work night didn’t mean the Shelter in Detroit wouldn’t come alive with some of the heaviest metal in North America. Vancouver’s own Archspire brought their brand of technical death metal to Detroit fans. The musical style is aggressive, assaulting the listener with an extreme fast-paced technical metal.
Following them was the self-proclaimed “weed metal” stylings of Richmond, Virginia’s Cannabis Corps. Their music can be described as old-school death metal, complete with lyrics about – you guessed it – cannabis.
Rounding off the night was Boston-based Revocation. The headline act is known for their hybrid blend of thrash and death metal.
National Rock Review was in attendance to bring you some photo highlights of the show.
