Queensryche made a stop in Philadelphia with special guests Meytal and Halcyon Way

Queensryche rocked out the TLA in Philadelphia. The band performed a wide variety of songs that showcased their entire catalog of hit. Queensryche hasn’t sounded so good in years.

Vocalist Todd Le Torre had the crowd connected to the music from start to finish, with bursts of wild energy centered around popular songs.

Meytal took the stage before Queensryche  with songs from their album Alchemy “Breathe,” “Killing Time,” and the Dream Theater cover “Pull Me Under.” The groups drummer Meytal Cohen is first in her class, and has been playing the drums since she was 18-years-old. It was good to see a backing band that could keep up with her energy.

Halcyon Way opened the show with incredible energy and shredding guitars. Came out like a ball of fire that never lost their flame. True showmen at their finest shredding through songs “Conquer” and “Hatred is My Cause”. Halcyon Way is a band to definitely go and see!

Photographer Mike Sievila was there to cover and photograph the show.
