Kamelot and Dragonforce team up to bring a power metal extravaganza to a packed Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, California.

Supporting their just released eleventh studio record Haven, Kamelot put on a highly energetic set, which not only included new songs like “Insomnia,” “Veil of Elysium,” and “Fallen Star,” but also classics such as “Rule The World,” “Ghost Opera,” and “Karma.” Vocalist Tommy Karevik pulled off the songs material flawlessly, which were made even more heavy and powerful by guitar virtuoso Thomas Youngblood. Kamelot is only getting bigger, and seems to have big things on their horizon.

Opening the show on this evening (and the whole tour) was fellow power metalists Dragonforce, who put on their own stellar set.

National Rock Review photographer Raymond Ahner was on hand to document the show.
