One of the most iconic and talented musicians of the modern age, Joe Satriani will take the stage at the Macomb Music Theatre this Sunday in support of his fourteenth studio album “Unstoppable Momentum”. Founder of the “G3” all-star guitar tour, Joe has traveled the world exploring new styles of music to broaden his majestic and amazing guitar techniques and apply them to his often sci-fi themed songs.
Some of his more recognizable songs include “Surfing With The Alien”, “Always With You, Always With Me” and more recently “Super Colossal” all of which were nominated for Grammys. Satriani has long been a teacher in the California area, with many notable musicians having been mentored by him over the years including Kirk Hammet of Metallica and fellow guitar wizard Steve Vai. He has also contributed his skills to other mediums including movies and video games as well as working with other artists on their musical projects.
