Psychedelic, bluesy, stoner rockers All Them Witches are currently wowing fans on their European tour.

Ahead of their UK October tour, Nashville’s All Them Witches released Live In Brussels, a new live album recorded at Belgium’s Ancienne Belgique whilst on their first tour through Europe in March 2016. This latest album follows the All Them Witches tradition of releasing live recordings independently and direct to their fans.

Recalling the night of this tight, sold-out performance in Belgium, drummer Robby Staebler reveals things were not so relaxed in the run up to the show. “This was right in the middle of our first European tour”, he said. “The AB club is seriously badass, great crew members and incredible hospitality. I remember we were late to the load in and soundcheck because we were driving ourselves around and tour managing everything on our own – which was stupidly stressful.” Staebler explained the band were unable to set up their gear and missed set up their gear, something they had to rush through after the opening band. He also ended up with the wrong drumsticks. However, while the setup was stressful, the band persevered and “the show felt great”.

All Them Witches first and second albums, Our Mother Electricity (2012) and Lightning at the Door (2014), showcased the band’s sonic soundscapes as one singular tight musical unit which captures their electrifying live sound. The band’s latest album, Dying Surfer Meets His Maker, released last year, sees the band evolve with more sophisticated psychedelic rock that pushes the band further forward.

“None of our shows are the same twice”, singer and bass player Charles Parks explains. “It’s like jazz, where the main parts are there, but the rest is made up. We never say it, it just happens, we let the music talk for us.”

All Them Witches are currently touring the UK and Europe through October and will follow with a tour in the US.
