Dan Patlansky starts 2015 with a bang, an imminent album launch and a whistle stop UK headline tour to boot.
Dan Patlansky is an accomplished Blues Rock artist in his native South Africa. With seven albums under his belt, it’s now time to spread his wings and bring his critically acclaimed album Dear Silence Thieves to the UK masses. The album was recently voted No. 1 album in the world as part of Blues Rock Review’s Top 20 Blues Albums of 2014 in a strong field which saw Patlansky go up against the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Devon Allman, Philip Sayce, and Rival Sons.
Last year Patlansky had the honor of opening for Bruce Springsteen in Johannesburg in front of an audience of 64,000 people. In April, Patlansky will be making a welcome return to the UK to play a series of shows in support of Dear Silence Thieves, starting with his album launch at the Borderline in London on Monday 27 April.
National Rock Review recently caught up with Dan to speak about the album, his influences, and his plans for 2015.
