35th and Taylor are the lucky winners chosen to open for Bon Jovi at their Chicago show on March 26.

In January, Jon Bon Jovi announced via Facebook Live, that they were going to give bands the opportunity to open for them on an arena date for their This House Is Not For Sale tour. Thousands of bands have uploaded their audition videos in the hope that they would be chosen. Live Nation chose 10 finalists for each of the tour dates, and Bon Jovi‘s management chose a winner from the shortlist.

Not only will 35th and Taylor be opening for Bon Jovi at Chicago’s United Center, but they will also receive additional exposure from being featured on both Live Nation and Bon Jovi’s Facebook pages.

“Wow, what an opportunity,” said 35th and Taylor. “Coming from a small town in the Midwest to the opening act for Bon Jovi in Chicago is well beyond our wildest dreams. We are so excited to have our chance on the big stage and to take our best shot. We can’t thank Bon Jovi enough for giving us the opportunity to put our music out there for the people to hear.”

This is not the first time that Bon Jovi has invited local and regional bands to open for them. They also followed this approach for their 2006 Have A Nice Day tour, as well as their 2010 The Circle tour. A different band will perform at each of the shows on their current tour.

Tour dates are on sale now at LiveNation.com and through participating venue Box Offices. Bon Jovi Fan Club tickets, including exclusive VIP packages, are on offer now as well.
