Rock super group, Motor Sister, jams out a setlist filled with nothing but classic Mother Superior songs at the DNA Lounge.
Playing one of their two California shows in San Francisco last week, Motor Sister put on a short but heavy set during which they ran through all the songs on their new album, Ride.
Comprised of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, along with his wife Pearl Aday, bassist Joey Vera, drummer John Tempesta, and founding Mother Superior guitarist and vocalist Jim Wilson, Motor Sister showed that they are by no means a tribute band, but something much more special.
Support for the evening came from The Devil in California and Andalusia Rose.
National Rock Review photographer Raymond Ahner was on hand to document the show.
