Housecore Records recording artist Child Bite brings their punk/metal sound to Metal Mondays at the Highland Taproom.

Hailing from Detroit “Rock City” and making the second stop on their Spring 2015 tour, Child Bite took the stage at the Highland Taproom welcomed by an enthusiastic group of fans. The hot and steamy environment coupled with the cramped and dimly lit stage made for the perfect setting for their punk and metal sound.

Pouring out pure energy and frantic emotion right from the start, Child Bite jumped in with their opening song “Dementia” and for the next 45 minutes the room was theirs. Along the way, they played songs from previously released EP’s like Ancestral Ooze and  Molestation of the Arts, along with some new stuff off their soon to be recorded album, even singing a song from atop a bar stool.  After the show, members of the band met the many new Louisville fans at the merch table.

Child Bite is touring their way down to New Orleans to record their upcoming LP with the infamous Philip H. Anselmo. Be sure to catch a local show if you can; you won’t be disappointed!

Child Bite is Shawn Knight (vocals, guitar, keys/samples), Sean Clancy (bass), Brandon Sczomak (guitar), and Jeff Kraus (drums).
