On this their second album release, KTG delivers a blasting range of gothic hued heavy slugging songs. These South Coast hard rockers fire up the nine tracks on We See You launching into opener Flight Of The Phoenix as most of the ensuing tracks hit the target some even the bullseye.
Fronted by the alluring presence of rangy vocalist Abigail Austin and dynamic lead guitarist Gerry Hearn, the band more than fulfils the obligatory standard rock line up approach as their early album single What We’ve Become revealed.
There’s also no shortage of anthemic numbers evidenced by the epic sweep of instrumentation to the intro of Dreamer: before chunky riffs coalesce with Austin’s enchanting voice reminding of All About Eve’s early output.
This is a band who know how to blend light and shade to dramatic melodic effect thereby avoiding the pitfalls of descending into a musical rut on this fine coming of age release.
