Art of Dying take a night off lighting the stage for Apocalyptica to headline in Kaukauna.

Canadian-born hard rock band Art of Dying took Kaukauna, WI by storm June 05. The quartet, consisting of lead vocalist Jonny Hetherington, lead guitars Tavis Stanley, bassist Cale Gontier, and Jeff Brown on drums, are currently on tour lighting the stage for Apocalyptica. National Rock Review caught up with them headlining at JJ Maloney’s in Kaukauana.

Opening for Art of Dying was Another Lost Year from North Carolina. ALY have shared the stage with Shinedown, Otherwise, and Nonpoint among other big names this year, and their talented high-energy live performance was the perfect lead-in for Art of Dying’s musically hard-hitting show.

Not only was the AoD crowd treated with all the fan favorites one would hope to experience, including “Get Thru This” and “Raining,” but the band also polled the crowd regarding the desire for them to perform a song from their new EP “Rise Up.” Resoundingly, the crowd rallied and were given a rousing performance of Art of Dying’s new single sharing the same name.

Art of Dying’s new EP “Rise Up” is available now and you can catch them on tour now!
