The American thrash metal rockers are back at it again releasing their eleventh studio album and lyric video for the single.
Anthrax recently released a new song titled “Evil Twin.” The band debuted the song with a lyric video that incorporates a compelling barrage of places, victims, actions, and some of the infamous zealots and others who have perpetrated violent extremism on innocents around the world, aptly exemplifying the song’s powerful message.
“Evil Twin” melodiously follows the thrash-metal legacy Anthrax is known for, including the turbulent guitar riff that begins the song. As it progresses, “Evil Twin” maintains the pass advancing energetically. As bassist Frank Bello states, “It’s a song that begs to be played live.”
The band originated out of New York City in 1981 by guitarist Scott Ian and former bassist Dan Lilker. After twenty plus years of making their mark on the metal industry, the band’s fan base remains loyal and eager for something new. Anthrax has released ten studio albums to date and is expecting to release the eleventh in 2016. The new album shall include the new single.
