Following on the tradition of having a local band open for them, Bon Jovi have invited The Steepwater Band to perform.

2018 Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees, Bon Jovi, have given 28 acts the opportunity to take to the stage before them for their This House Is Not For Sale 2018 tour. Chicago’s own The Steepwater Band have been chosen to fill the Chicago and Milwaukee spots.

You can see The Steepwater Band open for Bon Jovi on April 26 at the United Center and on April 29 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

“We are stoked to be playing with the legendary Bon Jovi, and wish to congratulate them on their upcoming induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! It will be a musical celebration when we get to share the stage in Chicago and Milwaukee for two big shows in late April. Many thanks to Bon Jovi and Live Nation for this awesome opportunity!” Joe Winters of The Steepwater Band said.

These shows will mark the end of the Shake Your Faith era for The Steepwater Band as they are taking a break for the rest of 2018 before working on new music planned for release next year.

Congratulations to The Steepwater Band and to all the other bands who have been awarded this prestigious position of opening for one of the world’s biggest rock bands.
