Widely regarded as the best Pink Floyd tribute in the world, Brit Floyd brings their all-new Eclipse world tour to Ohio.

It’s been over 20 years since the legendary English progressive rock band Pink Floyd embarked on their final tour in support of The Division Bell album. Since 1994, there have been very few occasions where the band or key members of the group have graced the stage together. The most notable of which being at Live 8 in Hyde Park back in 2005. Subsequently, Brit Floyd has been keeping the music of their Waters, Gilmour et al alive for 7 years now, whilst simultaneously wowing audiences across the globe.

Tonight’s show is part of Brit Floyd’s marathon US tour celebrating the 45th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s seminal album Dark Side of the Moon.

Throughout the course of their musical marathon, the group grapples with Pink Floyd’s extensive back catalog with a particular emphasis on the band’s mid-to-late 70’s classic compositionsBrit Floyd opens the show with an impressive airing of “Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V)”. Unmistakable Floyd classics such as “Another Brick In The Wall” and “Money” also feature in the first half of the show and each track in the set is delivered to perfection by this impressive ensemble of musicians.

Of course, as the band are marking the anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon the album features heavily during the course of the night. The group performs the lion’s share of the first side of the LP including “Speak To Me”, “Breathe”, “Time” and a showstopping rendition of “The Great Gig in the Sky”. Brit Floyd comes together seamlessly and effortlessly all night long.

Brit Floyd spares no expense with their concerts, putting forward somewhat of an impressive audio and visual experience with precision sound and lighting reminiscent of Pink Floyd’s Division Bell tour.

Tonight the Toledo-based audience became immersed in a musical extravaganza whereby this incredibly talented nine-piece group led by musical director Damian Darlington collectively brought to life the music of Pink Floyd. This show is as close as you will get to seeing the real thing, and that can only be a good thing for us all.
