Memphis May Fire’s new album Broken is out now. The band also confirms Disrupt and Warped Tour appearances for summer 2019.

Memphis May Fire have teamed up with Alternative Press to premiere the video for the new single “Heavy Is the Weight,” featuring Andy Mineo.

“The idea for the video was to capture the vibe and emotion of the song in a live performance setting. We rarely do videos that are strictly live performance, but this song was a great opportunity to do so,” said singer Matty Mullins.

He continued, “The song is about how hard it can be to remain purpose-driven and intentional with what you pursue when you don’t know who you can trust along the way — trying to stay true to yourself when it feels like the world wants you to fail.”

Regarding Mineo’s guest appearance, Mullins said, “Andy Mineo was the first person I thought of for the guest vocal on this song. The part just seemed perfect for his style. I’m a huge fan of Andy’s music, so it was an honor to collaborate on this one with him.”

The song appears on the band’s latest album Broken, out now via Rise Records.

Memphis May Fire have also announced their Summer 2019 tour plans. The band will be appearing on the second stage of the newly-launching and just-announced Disrupt Festival, which also joins up with the Warped Tour 25th Anniversary weekend shows this summer.
