Howie D. from Hard Edge Radio talks with drummer Tom Hunting from bay area thrashers, Exodus.

Howie D. from Hard Edge Radio and National Rock Review caught up with Tom Hunting from Exodus right before they took the stage to open the show for King Diamond at The Fillmore in Detroit on November 28. They talked about standing the test of time, proudest Exodus moment for him, what kind of guy Paul Baloff really was, making the decision to take this King Diamond tour even though Gary Holt was still on tour with Slayer in Europe and more.

It’s been over 35 years since Exodus started out on this journey of thrashing world domination and it’s pretty safe to say that after all these years, the band is more popular then ever. Their most recent album, Blood In Blood Out (Nuclear Blast), was released in October of 2014. The album has done very well and been praised by both long time fans and the younger generation of metal heads. The band is currently on tour with King Diamond as part of the Abigail anniversary tour which wraps up Friday, December 05 in Dallas, Texas.
