Enter for your chance to with a pair of tickets for the Aug 28th show at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI.

Great White is one of the most enduring rock and roll bands with a legacy that spans three decades of music history. Other bands of their generation have come and gone, but Great White’s music has stood the test of time. Their 2012 release of Elation featured new singer Terry Illous who brought a new sound and style to the band and was an immense success on the charts. 2012 also saw the release of a live album. Great White: 30 years – Live On the Sunset Strip along with a live concert DVD of their performance at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA in March of that year. The band has toured relentlessly over the years including appearances on the famous Monsters of Rock Cruise.

Founding member and lead guitarist Mark Kendal and I spent a half hour on the phone discussing the bands successful career, memories of playing in Detroit, plans for the future and life on the road these days.

Great White will be coming to the DTE Energy Music Theatre, still referred to as “Pine Knob” by long time Detroiters, with Queensryche, Bang Tango and Dio Disciples and August 28th. Tickets are only $20 for pavilion and $10 for lawn. Tickets available here.
