Lucid-Dream-BannerWhat does dripping wet love drops of nasty mind melting sonic bliss sound like? Your going to have to listen to Phutureprimitive tracks to find out.

Coming off his first headlining tour in the fall of 2013. Electronic veteran DJ/Producer Rain Phutureprimitive is back on the road and his fans are literally Dancing Out Their Demons at every stop along the way.

Having released his first album Sub Concious in 2004, Phutureprimitive obtained a cult following through a string of singles released on various labels leading up to his 2010 follow up EP Luminous. His second full length release Kinetik broke new barriers and furthered his stronghold on the EDM scene. Kinetik remains on the iTunes Top 100 Electronic Music Chart 3 years after its release.

With his latest release Searching For Beauty In The Darkest Places Pt. 1, Phutureprimitive adds new dimensions while maintaining the integral elements that have become somewhat of a trademark in the genre.

With the help of fans and a kickstarter campaign, Phutureprimitive is still celebrating the release of his first official music video, Lucid Dream, a collaboration with multi-media production team Vinton Depiction & Michael Miller, the animation/visual effects creator behind NBC’s Grimm.

The video’s concept details an apocalyptic future where nature has taken back control of the environment. The story follows an incredibly visual journey where Rain navigates through a beautiful and elemental landscape while discovering secrets of the past. In his quest for beauty in sound, Rain is guided by a holographic dance spirit performed by the lovely and talented ritual dancer Caeli La.

2014 is shaping up to be a very busy year as performances are already scheduled at major festivals throughout the country and beyond such as Envision Festival, Hoopla In The Hills, Serenity Gathering, Unifier Festival and Wakarusa with many more events on the horizon.

Prior to his sold out date at The Loft in Lansing, Michigan, Rain Phutureprimitive took a few moments to chat with the National Rock Review. He discusses his latest effort; the concepts for Dancing Out Your Demons, “Lucid Dreams”, the upcoming release of Searching For Beauty In The Darkest Places Pt.2 and future plans for 2014.
