Hailing from Kingston, Ontario, The Glorious Sons’ incisive new album ‘A War On Everything’ gets a UK release on December 6th 2019 via Toronto based independent label Black Box Music.  The daring 14-track collection is rife with vulnerability and searing insight into universal truths about anxiety, sadness and isolation in the 21st century, coupled with raw soulful lyrics.

Produced by Frederik Thaae (Kate Nash, Atlas Genius) and recorded at North of Princess studios in the group’s hometown, ‘A War On Everything’ marks the start of a new chapter for a band who have landed two Billboard #No 1s, played massive shows with The Rolling Stones and Twenty-One Pilots and had their own Radio 1 Rockshow session.

The Glorious Sons also reveal the video for ‘Panic Attack’.  This week the track hit #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart after already having spent 12 weeks at #1 on the Canadian Active Rock chart. It also features on Spotify’s ‘Rock This’ and Apple Music’s ‘The New Rock’ playlists.

“I think these days we all walk around over-stimulated, over-dependent, addicted, yearning for some magic way to isolate ourselves from the world and still be loved,” says singer Brett Emmons.

The Glorious Sons’ soul stirring vivacity is on full display on ‘A War On Everything.’ From the kinetic intensity of “Panic Attack” to the frenzied “The Ongoing Speculation Into The Death Of Rock and Roll,” the album bursts with bulletproof energy and trenchant, brutally honest lyrics. Check out the Verve-like ‘A War On Everything’ and the profound ‘Pink Motel’. The group has been gaining notoriety across the alt-rock scene culminating in their Young Beauties and Fools album winning the 2018 Juno award for Best Rock Album.

The Glorious Sons plan a lengthy European tour kicking off on November 4th in Birmingham.  Full tour dates below.
