After a few hints went out this past weekend, Metallica have announced the dates for the second North American leg of their tour.

Last summer saw Metallica perform 25 sold-out stadium dates across North America. Starting on September 2, 2018 in Madison, WI they will be visiting 34 cities that they did not go to on the last leg of the tour. They will also be including some cities they have not been to in decades –  Grand Forks, ND (nearly 30 years), Sioux Falls, SD, El Paso, TX, Birmingham, AL (nearly 26 years) and State College, PA (20 years). This leg of the tour will see them bringing the in-the-round production which they are currently using in Europe.

There will also be a new “Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket” which will give you floor access to any Metallica show on the 2018/19 North American tour for $598. If you have one of these tickets, just call no less than 48 hours before the show and you will be in. There will only be 250 of these tickets available, so make sure to snap yours up quick.

Every ticket that is purchased through official channels will receive a physical or digital copy of Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
There will also be three levels of special enhanced experiences which will include premium tickets and amenities ranging from early access to the venue and the “Memory Remains” exhibit of memorabilia to meeting some of the band. You can see full package details here

Metallica are continuing to raise funds for their All Within My Hands Foundation. For every donation made when purchasing tickets, you’ll be entered to win tickets, pre-show party passes, and meet and greet passes. One lucky winner will even be flown to the last show of the tour.

Fan club presales will begin tomorrow, February 27th. Click here for details. Citi card members can also buy tickets tomorrow beginning at 11:00 AM local time. Spotify will also have a presale event starting on Wednesday, February 28th. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 2nd at 10:00 AM local time.
