Texas is about to get hotter with Houston’s Open Air festival and the lineup of the decade!

The beautiful NRG Park will be home to the first Houston Open Air music festival on September 24 and 25. It promises more than a powerhouse lineup. #GourmetManFood, Tacolandia, Jack Daniels Old #7 Whiskey Row, and Monster Energy Experience will be there to see to your needs during this grueling two days of rock n’ roll insanity.

Houston Open Air with 38 bands on three stages over two days will please just about everyone who comes to witness the mayhem. Avenged Sevenfold, Alice In Chains, Deftones, Slayer, Chevelle, The Cult, Ministry, Alter Bridge, Ghost, Anthrax, Pierce The Veil, Of Mice & Men, Sevendust, Baroness, Hellyeah, Chevy Metal, and Buckcherry are just a few of the heavy hitters performing.

Ticket holders are also given the options of locker rentals with unlimited charging for your devices, using Sharethebus shuttle service from three locations in Houston, Curadora has also partnered up and is offering discounted hotel rooms through their website.

All ticket fees include a 25ȼ charity fee that will benefit Living the Dream (LTD) Foundation, a non-profit which connects the music industry together with terminally ill fans by arranging a backstage All Access VIP experience with their favorite artists. You can feel good about rocking out knowing that you are helping someone else.

A portion of ticket sales will also help the Greater Houston Storm Relief Fund, which accepts flood relief donations to aid Houston community victims of the recent storms. To donate or learn more, visit their website.

Danny Wimmer, the festival founder, stated “Houston is one of the country’s biggest rock markets and, when combined with the impressive food scene happening here, it’s a natural location for a DWP Festival. With the inclusion of an incredible food experience and the Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Row, we are kicking off a powerhouse experience that will live in the market for many years to come!” We here in Houston certainly hope so!

Be sure to get your tickets now! This is a show you are not going to want to miss!
