Canadian punk metallers Sumo Cyco recently returned to the UK in support of their latest album Opus Mar, which was released last March.

Sumo Cyco has been relentlessly touring the UK in recent time whilst supporting the likes of Fozzy, The Butcher Babies, Alien Ant Farm and Devilskin. The band recently embarked on their first full UK headline tour in support of their latest offering.

To coincide with the tour Sumo Cyco unleashed their brand new single “Undefeated”, the first track to be taken from their as-yet-untitled forthcoming EP.

National Rock Review caught up with the band’s lead vocalist Skye Sweetnam at Think Tank in Newcastle to talk about their latest album, life on the road and the band’s plans for the rest of the year.
