Detroit horrorcore duo Twiztid play to their hometown crowd at the Majestic Theatre.
The duo of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide, better known as Twiztid, has headlined over 1000 shows to date in their career, one of the most recent being a stop in the Motor City. This show was something special, being Twiztid is from Detroit. No less important is the fact they were playing on Devil’s Night, an annual Detroit tradition of often destructive pranks.
The band is known for their sinister lyrics and infectious beats. To date, they have released twelve major albums and EPs released, and have sold more than one million albums worldwide. To top it all, their albums have charted on Billboard’s Top 100.
The show on the night before Halloween “was a blast,” as many of those in attendance would attest. The Majestic Theatre, a well-known concert venue in Detroit, was packed with an odd mix of fans eager to hear a bill that included Blaze Ya Dead Homie, The R.O.C., Kung Fu Vampire, Neurotic November, PWD, and Ajax. This mix of rap, hip hop, and metalcore was well received by this diverse crowd as everyone appeared to have a great time.
Joe Orlando was on hand to capture the night in images and Faygo!
