The Intersection welcomed My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult to their club wtih DJ Toxic Rainbow in support.

The Thrill Kill Kult is supporting their new album, Spooky Tricks released in May of 2014. They have been known for their elaborate stage shows and this show did not let the fans down.

I had a chance to sit down with Groovie Man (Frankie Nardiello) and Buzz McCoy (Marston Daley) and hear their thoughts on the new album and tour. This show was a little different because they took fan suggestions for songs on their website to add to the show’s setlist.

There were a variety of songs played from Spooky Tricks and from older albums. Songs such as, Do You Fear for Your Child, kept the audience dancing and singing. Many of the bands biggest hits, such as Sex on Wheelz from The Sexplosion, were not included in the set list this time around. After playing them for a number of years, it was refreshing to hear the band play songs they may not have played before.

Visually, all eyes were on Groovie Man when he hits the stage. The lights go from dark to light and back again. This gives a mystical feeling all around the band members and the audience moves with the music.

It was a truly dedicated group of fans coming out to see the band. The band can be remembered for their part in the movie, The Crow and for early work, Frankie and Marston had in the band Ministry.

After the show, Groovie Man came out and greeted fans at the merchandise table giving hugs and taking photos. Buzz McCoy also came out a little later and talked to fans. They were both truly nice and talented men.
