Just 10 days since they opened for Blackberry Smoke, Chicago radio station, 93XRT, welcomed The Temperance Movement back to the city.

It may have only been a brief five-song set, but The Temperance Movement certainly used their time to the fullest. Phil Campbell brought his usual high energy to the performance. Their set began with a soulful, rocky “Midnight Black,” one of their many songs which make it hard to not tap your foot. This was followed by the ever popular “Only Friend” and a stripped back country-style “Chinese Lanterns,” a song capable of making the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. The tempo went back to its foot stomping pace with “Take It Back,” before rounding out the set with “Ain’t No Telling.” It was a tight performance by a band who were clearly enjoying themselves up on that stage.

The Temperance Movement is currently touring the states, opening for Southern Rock band, Blackberry Smoke. The band managed to make space in their hectic schedule to play a live streamed set at Chicago’s 93XRT radio station. They will be on tour rigorously right through May 20, so make sure to catch up them when they come to your city. It’s a guaranteed high energy night out.
