Hellyeah blasted the roof off the Fillmore Detroit this past Saturday. Touring in support of their “Band of Brothers” album, it was easy to see that the venue was packed early on to see this metal super group bring the show that has embodied each of it’s members prior offerings, assaulting the crowd with a sledgehammer of metal born from the forges of the bands that comprise the group members. Critics be damned, the masses showed up to show support with Hellyeah, Dimebag, Pantera, Mudvayne, Damageplan shirts abound, the clouds of smoke as thick in the air as the torsos of the crowd flailing about, this was a show to not miss if you loved anything metal at all.
