When it comes to metal singers, few stick out as legendary as Queensrÿche frontman Geoff Tate, who along with Rob Halford (Judas Priest) or Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) are considered the “Three Tenors of Metal”. Having been the voice of Queensrÿche for over thirty years since their inception in 1983, Geoff returns to Detroit tonight to open for Whitesnake at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI with his solo band to perform music from his solo albums as well as a few Queensrÿche songs.
