Seether brought their post-grunge metal sound to a near sold-out show packed full of eager fans at the Starland Ballroom in support their upcoming new album.

Fans of all ages, young and old, filled the Starland Ballroom to hear the hits interspersed with songs from the band’s anticipated upcoming release, Isolate and Medicate. The crowd response was overwhelming as they sung along to every song!

The band’s humble beginnings date all the way back to 1999 when they formed under the name of Saron Gas. It wasn’t until 2002 when they decided to change their name to Seether. Gaining mainstream popularity in 2004, they have continued to have moderate success throughout the years.

Having released their last album in 2011, fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of their newest album which is set to be released on July 1st, 2014. The first single, Words as Weapons, was released on May 1st, 2014 to rave reviews.

The band is currently out on the road which made a stop in Sayreville, New Jersey. Our photographer, Jeff Crespi, was on hand to catch their set at the Starland Ballroom. Here are his images from that night.

It started when Jeff’s son came across his Kiss CD's grew into something that his son would listen to day and night. Kiss just happened to be playing at a local venue that summer, so he decided to take him to his first show as a father son bonding activity. Jeff found out about another local club that had shows of every genre and style on a more regular basis so he started going to a couple of shows a week becoming locals in the industry. Jeff has always loved photography, he would take pictures at all the shows with his point n’ shoot camera from the crowd. People enjoyed Jeff’s pictures and that became the focus of going to shows.
