The second annual Randy Rhoads Remembered show celebrates the life of a true guitar legend who left this world way too soon.

Some of the biggest names in Heavy Metal and Hard Rock gathered at the height of NAMM weekend for a four-plus hour tribute to Ozzy Osbourne’s original guitarist, Randy Rhoads, and shredded through every song from Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman, as well as a few pre-Ozzy and Quiet Riot tracks. Led by drummer Brian Tichy (Billy Idol, Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne), the likes of Sebastian Bach, Rudy Sarzo, Tracii Guns, Monte Pittman, Alex Skolnick, and Dave Ellefson to name a few, put on an over four-hour show filled with riffs that would have made Randy proud.

National Rock Review photographer Raymond Ahner was in the photo pit the entire evening to capture it all.

And although he will always love shooting the big arena Rock show, it is in a tiny, packed to the rafters club were he his most at home with his gear.
