Monster Truck pulled into the Revel Casino’s Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on May 9th, 2014. This is a band clearly on the rise. They have garnered great reviews from their album Furiosity, released in May of 2013.

With the great buzz from their live show, I can see why they have already toured with the likes of Sevendust, Slash, Kid Rock, Alter Bridge and Guns N’ Roses. Listening to their show tonight, their music incorporates many genres, including southern and hard rock to soul and blues with a little grunge and punk mixed in. Fans of Clutch or Lullwater will not be disappointed in these guys!

The band consists of Jon Harvey (Vocals and Bass), Jeremy Widerman (Guitar and Vocals), Brandon Bliss (Organ and Vocals) and Steve Kiely (Drums and Vocals). They are a Canadian band that formed in Hamilton, Ontario in 2009. Originally starting out as a side-project, the band quickly gained momentum and turned into the driving force that it is today.

They won the 2013 Juno Award for Breaththrough Group of the Year and have toured extensively since. The band has quickly become known for their live show and their confidence on stage has grown with their regimented touring schedule.

The constant show regiment and recording process has sharpened the band’s delivery. Those still interested in original and authentic rock n’ roll will be compelled to pay attention!
