The Ink Spot tattoo shop wrapped up the last of three showcases featuring St. Louis area bands before the Ink Spot Block Party in August.

Fivefold from St. Louis, is touring in support of their single, “Room to Breath,” the first release since their EP, Hold On, in late 2013. The five-piece formed in 2007 has additional tour dates scheduled for August 2015, including another appearance at Pop’s.

This event, the final showcase concert, also featured Ashland from Central Illinois who are on the road touring in support of Interim, their recently released new EP. Apollo’s Daughter, based in Eureka, Missouri brought their unique blend of rock and hip-hop to entertain fans. The post-punk act from Fenton, Missouri, City of Parks, and Angelhead from St. Louis (formerly known as Harbor) were also on the bill.

NRR photographer, Colleen O’Neil, was on hand to capture the images of the show.

About The Author

Colleen was always the kid with the camera, taking snapshots of anything and everything she found interesting. Fast-forward to her teen years, where she spent much spare time and money on seeing as many live rock 'n roll acts as possible, both established and up-and-coming bands, and having a camera in hand. Colleen works to capture those moments that draw the viewer in and define the mood and energy of the artists and their performances.
