It’s been 30 years since Queensryche first began and Geoff Tate, the former lead singer, isn’t slowing down.

Geoff Tate is currently on tour, billed as Queensryche Starring Geoff Tate – The Farewell Tour, is in full swing and everything looks great! Tate and his former band mates were able to reach an amicable settlement, outside of court, which has allowed Geoff to tour under the name ‘Geoff Tate: The Voice of Queensryche’, after this tour commences and permits the remaining members of the original band to retain the Queensryche moniker.

Also under the new agreement Tate will have the exclusive right to perform both Operation: Mindcrime and Operation: Mindcrime II.

Tate’s current lineup features Rudy Sarzo (Bass), Robert Sarzo (guitar), Kelly Gray (Guitar), Simon Wright (Drums), and Randy Gane (Keyboards). After this tour, the musicians are expected to remain the same.

Currently, the band is performing all the hits along with some very rare tracks to celebrate the last 30 years of Queensryche’s legacy.

Check out his images here and be sure to catch the tour as it progresses across the U.S. until August 9th.
