Foo Fighters pack the Fiddlers Green Amphitheater two beautiful nights in a row with three-hour sets.
It is a perfect evening in Englewood, CO as people pack into the amphitheater for night two of this remarkable concert. The two-piece from the United Kingdom, Royal Blood, took the stage and blew the crowd away with their hard hitting rock n’ roll. It was hard to believe there were only two guys on the stage as they played songs off their full-length, self-titled album that was released a year ago.
As the crowd anxiously awaits the Foo Fighters to start, the giant curtain is quickly whisked away to reveal Dave Grohl sitting on a throne. This seat was made for Grohl after he broke his leg during a concert in Sweden.
The legendary Seattle rockers played an incredible three-hour set full of everything from all the hits to the obscure and even threw some covers in there. Part way through the set, Grohl took a break from the songs to show a video of himself breaking his leg and some photos of events after. He proceeded to tell the whole entertaining story about how it happened and showed the sketch of the throne he designed that looked like the doodle of a 5-year-old. This concert is a night that none will soon forget.
