Dale Watson rode into Chicago on a cold, Sunday night and packed the club with adoring fans, performing with legend Rosie Flores.

Dropping off the current Revered Horton Heat tour for a quick stop in Chicago, Dale Watson and The Lonestars rocked the house. He mentioned that he was concerned about the number of people who would show up considering the cold and the impending snow, but was very surprised at an almost sold out house. From laughing, engaging with the fans and playing requests, Dale was spot on. Everyone seemed to enjoy the show and the crowd stuck around until the very last note.

It was a pleasure to see Rosie Flores join Dale on this tour. Rosie was the one who encouraged a young Dale Watson to move to Austin in 1988. A legend in her own right, Rosie Flores has amazing vocals and screaming guitar solos. She is a legend in the Austin music scene, and is also the first female Latina country artist to ever enter the Billboard country charts. She seemed to be the perfect counterpart to the music of Dale Watson, and truly took the performance to the next level.
