Blues Traveler headlined the Colt’s Kickoff Concert this year with special guests The Easthills.

The concert was free to the public and drew a diverse crowd. The Easthills opened to a large supportive crowd. The band boasts two singers Will Barada and Hank Campbell who are the band’s founding members, songwriters and guitarists. The Easthills provide big guitar riffs and great harmony from their dual singers. They had great energy on stage and the crowd responded to their well-rounded sound.

The Easthills worked with producer/musician Doug Henthorn (Healing Sixes, Joe Bonamassa and John Hiatt) on their début album Death of a Salesman and their EP World Class Prick. They have returned to the studio for work on a new album which is eagerly anticipated by their large fan base.

Blues Traveler took the stage with their great mix of crowd favorites and lesser known songs. It was as though you were watching a jam session instead of a show. The band members played comfortably and obviously enjoyed each song. The crowd danced and sang along to old favorites. Popper is a solid vocalist as well as an amazing harmonica player. Blues Traveler delivered exactly what the crowd expected, a good solid show.
