Critically acclaimed album ‘Serpents Unleashed’ to be reissued as picture disc vinyl on June 23

Following a summer European tour, metal road warriors SKELETONWITCH will return the roads of North America for a fall tour in support of their Billboard-charting, critically lauded 2013 release “Serpents Unleashed.” The band will once again join Swedish metal brethren Amon Amarth — with whom they completed a successful, mostly sold-out run earlier this year — on a six-week tour that also features Sabaton. Dates and ticket information can be found in the tour trailer HERE or listed above.

SKELETONWITCH has also announced a limited-edition picture disc pressing of “Serpents Unleashed,” which is available now for pre-order. Get all the details from shredder Scott Hedrick below:

Limited to 500 copies worldwide, the picture disc will also be available in select independent record shops upon its release on June 23. Make sure to call your local store to request one!

Celebrating 10 years of blackened metal and heavy shredding, “Serpents Unleashed” has been hailed by critics as SKELETONWITCH’s best album to date. Recorded with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Trap Them), the album is an 11-track “triumph of blackened thrash sculpted by a discordant classic rock/metal edge” (Terrorizer). Known for their relentless touring schedule, the band has since supported its release on several tours including support runs with The Black Dahlia Murder, Amon Amarth, Enslaved and Ghost B.C.
