CRITICAL PRAISE FOR RAZED TO THE GROUND:
Pinkish Black resemble a Popol Vuh that suddenly became obsessed with denim and leather, or an enterprising Goblin that, after doing scores for Dario Argento, discovered that headbangers love horror movies. – Pitchfork
Classically minded metal trio…take a lot from the Birthday Party and kind of morph those moody and dark post punk bands of the 80s but are much heavier and gloomier. – NPR’s All Things Considered
Razed To The Ground is heavier, more melodic, and more captivating than the band’s excellent 2012 release. It shifted from grinding, atonal, primal industrial-goth to bleep-bloopy space-metal to something spacious, somber, and quite beautiful. – Stereogum
Razed to the Ground, their second full-length in as many years, gets even weirder than its predecessor and serves to further define the sludgy post-punk niche the group have created for themselves. – Punknews
Razed to the Ground in, it’s one of the best releases of 2013, period, regardless of genre. – CVLTNation
