“The equivalent of a 3D IMAX experience… Asteroid-impact-heavy music with lilting, clean-sung passages” – MetalSucks

“_______________” – YOU

Take a listen to an advance stream of ambient post-rockers JUNIUS’ new EP “Days of The Fallen Sun” (out Feb. 18) HERE, and then fill in the blank above and tell us what you think!

A prequel to their 2009 full-length debut “The Martyrdom Of A Catastrophist” — which explored the controversial trials and tribulations of scholar Immanuel Velikovsky — the haunting new release features four majestic tracks entwined by a series of ominous interludes. “Days Of The Fallen Sun” was co-produced at Radar Studio in Clinton, Conn. with Will Benoit, whose previous work includes their 2011 Prosthetic debut “Reports From The Threshold of Death,” and features stimulating cover art from Adrian Brouchy as seen above.

JUNIUS are currently on tour in Europe with Long Distance Calling and label mates Wolves Like Us throughout Europe. Immediately following, they will embark on a short headlining East Coast run which will feature select appearances with Caspian.
