Uli Jon Roth, Vinnie Moore, and Craig Goldy, who represent the best in progressive rock and metal, will be touring the United States kicking it off in Ramona, California.
The XG Extreme Guitar tour features the father of neo-classical guitar and founding member of the Scorpions, Uli Jon Roth who will be joined by Kofi Baker, son of the fantastic Ginger Baker (Cream) on drums with Elliott Rubinson, Dean Guitars CEO, on bass.
Vinnie Moore who is currently the guitarist for UFO will be blazing through his lengthy catalog of solo material with Elliott Rubinson on bass. Vinnie’s playing ability and musical depth are stunning.
Legendary Dio guitarist Craig Goldy will be at the helm of the new Black Knights Rising project. The concept is to provide a vehicle for those musicians who have either written or been greatly influenced by the works of Ronnie James Dio and Ritchie Blackmore. This all-star band will put their own unique and talented spin on songs mined from the extensive catalogs of Dio, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple. The band features Craig Goldy (guitar), Vinny Appice (drummer for Dio, Black Sabbath, and Heaven and Hell), Elliott Rubinson (bass for Michael Schenker Group, Uli Jon Roth, Carmine Appice) and Mark Boals (vocals for Dio Disciples, Yngwie Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth, and Ring of Fire).
Opening up this fantastic carnival of music is Toronto, Canada natives, Old James. This is sure to be an outstanding exploration of rock and metal music that will showcase some of the finest musicians of our times.
